Two adults and one infant are currently in the hospital after their vehicle was struck by a freight train.

The incident occurred Friday around 9:30 am in the area of Runyon Village and State Road 15.

Captain Albert Borroto of Palm Beach County Fire Resue reported that they found the vehicle on it’s side with the infant and two adults trapped inside.

Rescue workers were able to release the victims using extrication tools and rushed them to area hospitals.

One person was said to have been taken to a trauma hospital, while the infant and another adult were taken to another hospital.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.
