
UVALDE, TX- 19 children are dead following a shooting at Robb Elementary, 85 miles west of San Antonio.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott confirms the shooter, an 18 year old Uvalde resident, is also dead.
Early reports indicate the gunman allegedly shot his grandmother in the face a block from the school and then ran into the school while being pursued by police. U.S. Border Patrol agents also responded to the school shooting where one agent was shot and injured.
A San Antonio TV reporter indicates an area hospital is treating ‘several second, third and forth grade students’ for injuries.
Uvalde Memorial Hospital is caring for several students. Still no word on how many people have been injured.

A 66 year old woman and a ten yesr old girl were taken to a San Antonio area hospital. The suspect’s grandmother is still alive and in serious condition.
Students evacuated from Robb Elementary are being taken to the Willie DeLeon Civic Center in Uvalde to be reunited with their families.
Police are working to establish a motive.
