Detectives in Miami-Dade County are currently searching for a 17-year-old boy who is wanted in connection with an attempted murder case.
South Miami police say they are searching for Virgel James.
James is accused of being involved in a shooting that occurred on April 17th, in the area of Southwest 59th Place and 68th Street.
According to the report, James pulled a gun out of his waistband and fired several shots at the victim before fleeing the area.
The victim was injured but survived.
James is considered armed and dangerous.
