(BOCA RATON, FL) – A 17-year-old west Boca Raton boy was hit and killed by a car while riding his bicycle on Thursday evening.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Palm Beach County woman was traveling north on State Road 7 when she struck the boy. The incident took place just before 6 p.m., officials say.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene, while driver was uninjured, according to a sheriff’s office crash report.
The identify of the 17-year-old has not been released.
