SUNRISE, FL– Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old boy who failed to return home from school. 

Nicholas Ruiz has been missing since Tuesday. 

Officials say the teen was last seen at Bair Middle School.

Ruiz is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighs around 130 pounds.

He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say Ruiz has previously run away from home but it is unclear if it is the case this time.
