A 13-year-old Florida girl is now facing felony charges after she allegedly threatened to shoot up her middle school.

The threat was reportedly made overnight on the teen’s Instagram account that has now been deleted.

Authorities say the threat caused almost 400 students of Lake Placid Middle School to stay home out of an abundance of caution Wednesday.

The teen is now facing charges of written/sent threat to kill or injure, disturbance of a school function and using a two-way device to facilitate a felony.
