PALM BAY, FL– An 11-month-old baby has died after she was left inside of a vehicle for several hours outside of a church.
The incident occurred outside the storefront church in Palm Bay.
Investigators say the child’s parents are both pastors and were attending services for three hours when the child was discovered.
The child was rushed to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
“This is an unfortunate incident, and our condolences and prayers go out to the family,” Palm Bay Police Chief Mario Augello said in a statement.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
