
Authorities at the Surfside condo collapse are reporting that they have located another body.
The body 11th body was discovered around 6:30 p.m. on the 5th day of searching.
Champlain Towers’ South condo collapsed last Thursday around 3:00 a.m. while many of the missing families were sleeping.
First responders have been working day and night in 12 hours shifts to locate the missing people.
Despite their best rescue efforts, many family members of those who are still missing have been complaining about the amount of time rescue workers are taking to locate the missing:
“Our biggest concern is causing more harm than good,” said Steve Lawrence with Florida Task Force 3.
So far 135 people have been accounted for and 150 people are still missing.
Nine of the victims have been identified so far. They are as follows:
54-year-old Stacie Fang, 54-year-old Manuel Lafont, 83-year-old Antonio Lozano, 79-year-old Gladys Lozano, 80-year-old Leon Oliwkowicz, 26-year-old Luis Bermudez, 46-year-old Anna Ortiz, 74-year-old Christina Beatriz Elvira.
