(OHIO) — Gerson Fuentes, 27, was charged with rape after he confessed to impregnating a 10-year-old girl.
The girl traveled to Indiana to seek an abortion, since Ohio recently implemented the ban on the procedure after 6 weeks, following the Supreme Court’s decision of overturning Roe v Wade.

Fuentes was arrested Tuesday after law enforcement said he raped the girl on two occasions.
Franklin County Children Services had notified Columbus police of the girl’s pregnancy .
According to sources, the girl received an abortion in Indianapolis on June 22.
Det. Jeffrey Huhn testified that DNA collected from the clinic is being examined against samples from Fuentes to authenticate his responsibility for the girl’s pregnancy.
ICE allegedly placed a detainer on Fuentes to deport him after the rape trial.
This repulsive incident sparked global outrage over various social media outlets, and became a frequent point of debate for pro-choice supporters.
“Imagine being that little girl,” said President Joe Biden last Friday. “I’m serious. Just imagine being that little girl.”
The victim had informed police that Fuentes was responsible for her pregnancy.
The girl had recently turned 10, so it’s possible that she was impregnated at only 9 years old.
