At least ten people were killed when a gunman opened fire at a Buffalo, New York grocery store on Saturday.
13 others have been injured, at least 4 seriously.
Police say Payton Gendron of Conklin, NY entered Tops Friendly Market just after 2:30 PM and began shooting.
He was was reportedly carrying a rifle and wearing military-style clothing.
Gendron surrendered to police who are investigating the rampage as a possible hate crime.
Among the victims was a retired Buffalo police officer who was working at the store.
He reportedly engaged the suspect but was unable to stop him because he was wearing body armor.
There are also reports he was streaming the shooting on social media.
Conklin is 200 miles southeast of Buffalo.
