Authorities are currently investigating a shooting that left one person dead in North Lauderdale.

The incident was reported around 10:00 p.m. on Monday near the 8000 block of Southwest Seventh Court.

Broward Sheriff’s Office officials say they arrived to the scene to find a man who had been shot several times.

The victim then died at the scene.

At least one person was been detained and questioned, however, no arrests have been made.

Authorities are continuing to comb the area for more evidence.
