Officials in Hollywood, Florida are reporting that they have detained a person of interest after a man was shot and killed during a dispute between multiple residents in a neighborhood.

The incident occurred Sunday afternoon near North 56th Avenue and Taft Street.

Authorities say they arrived to the area around 1:25pm to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then rushed to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Many details about the shooting have not been made public as authorities continue their investigation, however officials did report that a person of interest has been detained for questioning.
