Officials in Long Island, New York are reporting that 1 person has been killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a grocery store.

The incident was reported on Tuesday afternoon at a Stop & Shop Supermarket in West Hemstead.

In a press conference near the scene, Nassau County Police reported that the shooting occurred in an upstairs portion of the store inside of a managers office.

Several sources are reporting that the person who was killed worked at the store, however, the Police has not confirmed that report.

The suspect is said to be still at large, however, authorities are reporting that they have identified a person of interest and believe that, that person may have or still works for the store.
