Watch: First responders use Heimlich maneuver to save choking puppy 

Sunday, a woman and her friend ran into a Massachusetts police station after their 9-month St. Bernard puppy was unresponsive.

The ordeal caught on video captures North Reading Police Officers Jorge Hernandez, Peter DiPetro and Joseph Aleo along with North Reading firefighters, administering the Heimlich maneuver and chest compressions for nearly 10 minutes until they successfully saved the choking puppy’s life.

Firefighters then gave the puppy oxygen using a special mask designed for pets.
