Steven J Grey has worked on-the-air in South Florida for over 20 years. He started his career doing traffic for various South Florida radio stations. Then came along an opportunity to work for 99Jamz. His show quickly became the number one rated by Arbitron and then he moved that success to Hot 105 were he repeated the same huge ratings.
But Steven was bitten by the news-talk bug. He had a hit show on WIOD for 7 years as well as covering major news stories while airborne for WSVN 7, CBS 4 and NBC 6 in Miami. 
Steven, who is also a pilot, flies approximately 24 hours each week covering traffic and breaking news for WFTL. When he’s not flying, he’s running his own broadcast engineer company. Steven is a former sailing instructor and can also ride a unicycle. He is also a ham radio operator, KC4NOL.
Listen for Steven’s live reports in WFTL’s Chopper 1 every weekday morning and afternoon. News Talk 850 WFTL is the only radio station with airborne traffic reports, making them the most accurate anywhere on the South Florida radio dial. |
