There’s a new way to take medical marijuana, in a tablet. It is touted as next step forward in innovation and management of chronic illness.

Columbia Care is introducing a first of its kind, pharmaceutical quality, extended release hard-pressed medical marijuana tablet.

The pill, with a high level of CBD and low levels of THC, is designed to provide long lasting, sustained release of the medication.

It was developed for people with nerve pain, inflammation, anxiety, seizures and muscle spasms.

The tablets are available for registered patients this week in New York and will be available at dispensaries across the country later this year.

We will hold another panel discussion on medical marijuana April 20th, yes 4/20 at 9:00 and will discuss this new form of treatment available in a tablet.
