Man shot by deputies had extensive criminal record

According to deputies Philip Oshea was involved in a deputy-involved shooting in Jupiter Friday afternoon.

Oshea was just released from prison a month ago and had an extensive history of crime dating back all the way to 1991. He was charged for crimes like grand theft, armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, battery, and kidnapping.

Police say there was already a warrant for his arrest from a crime ten days ago.

Palm Beach County deputies are investigating if Oshea was responsible for other robberies in our area.
