Man Dies After Punch From Uber Driver

Authorities in St. Petersburg, Florida reported that a 53-year-old man has died after being punched by his Uber driver. According to the report Terry Lynn Kimball and his Uber driver who was not identified, began arguing over the route the driver was taking. During the argument, the Uber driver pulled over at a convenience store where both men got out of the vehicle and an altercation ensued. At one point Kimball was hit in the head by the Uber driver and lost consciousness. The hospital reported that Kimball sustained serious brain trauma from the incident and never regained consciousness. He was pronounced dead the next day.

The driver involved has not been charged, however, authorities said they are leaving the case open.
