Man Accused of Planning Bomb Attacks at Target Stores

An Ocala man is being accused by State and federal authorities of plotting to blow up at least 10 Target stores from Florida to New York.

Authorities say Mark Barnett attempted to call someone forĀ help to plant 10 explosive devices as food packaging on the shelves of Target Stores.

Police were able to discover his plans since he was turned in.

Police say Barnett’s motive was to make Target stocks drop so he could buy cheap shares and make money when values rose again.
